Helen Griffin
Helen was the original director of Camp Allegro, before it became its own entity.

She is a graduate of Friends University, with a degree in piano performance and church music. She did her grad work at WSU and Boston University.

She is currently a pianist and organist for the University Congregational Church, pianist for the Singing Quaker Alumni Choir, for Music Theater of Wichita, and for USD 259. She also gives private lessons.

“Camp Allegro Wichita is unique in that any child with a desire to learn about music can benefit from coming here. Most music camps require a certain proficiency to even be considered for admission; at Camp Allegro, although many of the campers are already good musicians for their age and experience, we offer an introductory experience for children who are just beginning.”
