Camp Allegro Wichita is a music day camp for young people of all skill levels, beginning to advanced, including those who do not currently play a musical instrument but would like to learn. We are a nonprofit organization located in Wichita, Kansas, that strives to present an unequaled summer musical experience each June with week-long sessions in a variety of musical disciplines.

Our mission is to provide a unique opportunity for youth ages three to eighteen to explore and perform diverse forms of music in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We are committed to engaging excellent teachers who are passionate about bringing music to children and teenagers of all backgrounds and abilities, including those who don't play an instrument but wish they did. Camp Allegro Wichita is incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of Kansas and has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.

Camp Allegro Wichita offers beginning instrumental instruction, small group ensembles (including piano ensembles), chamber music, piano, organ, guitar, fiddling, jazz improv, music theory and history, master classes, choir, band and jazz band, and orchestra, plus art, photography, and recreation. Campers have the opportunity to learn new instruments, improve their technique and musicianship, and have fun making music with other campers, as well as enjoy listening to their teachers in our faculty recitals.
